Paris Nightlife - Theatre Meets Adventure

One of the most exciting places to go in the world, whether for a weekend getaway or a year-long relocation, is the land of Parisians. A lot of people have heard of the tourist locations to visit during the day—the Tour d’Eiffel, L’Arc de Triomphe, Musee d’Orsay, Sacre Coeur. However, Paris is one of those cities that truly comes to life at night.

Since Paris is so old and culturally rich, visitors can find a unique experience in any of Paris’s fabulous neighborhoods. With delicious wine around every corner, each night is sure to be a blast. One of the best ways to combine the famous French art with the famous French wine is to check out one of the city’s many shows—especially the cabarets!

At a cabaret, you will taste amazing foods and exquisite drinks while enjoying the vibrant colors, elegant costumes, theatrical dancing, and astounding music. If you’re ready a some risqué, fun, energetic experience, walk into one of these shows and never look back.

If you’re not already visiting Sacre Coeur or perusing the cobblestone streets peppered with struggling artists, hop on the Metro and get off in Montmartre, where you will discover the famed Moulin Rouge along one of the main avenues. You’ll know you’re there when you stumble upon the beautiful landmark of the red windmill surrounded by tourists doing the "can-can" and snapping a photograph. Discover your wild side as soon as you walk through the doors into a world of sensual splendor!

Another fantastic cabaret show might sound even more appealing because it is located on the Champs-Elysees: Lido. Lido’s prices are a bit higher, perhaps due to its fabulous location within eyeshot of l’Arc de Triomphe, but this cabaret is no disappointment to theatre-lovers. Grab a bite to eat at a café along the famous avenue while you enjoy the French pastime of people-watching, and then you can attend the later viewing. This show does not include dinner, so the price is more reasonable. Otherwise, you can get the full Crazy Horse experience and enjoy the show during dinner. The intricate costumes (at least below the waist!) are enough to blow your mind away, but try some of the amazing champagne selection, and you will enjoy every second of your experience!
